South Central College (SCC) is moving into the next phase of its strategic planning process. The College is inviting students, staff, faculty, community members, and business & industry partners to participate in a half-day Strategic Planning Summit. This half-day summit will be hosted on Wednesday, March 13 at the North Mankato Campus from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and the Faribault campus from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Participants are invited to attend in person during one of two summit sessions.
Dr. Larry Ebbers, a community college expert and Senior Research Associate with WhitworthKee Consulting, will facilitate the Summit. President Annette Parker, members of the Strategic Planning Committee, and additional members of WhitworthKee Consulting will join Dr. Ebbers. The purpose of the Summit is to review South Central College’s mission and vision, and to solicit input on where the College should focus its efforts over the next three to five years.
South Central College is seeking the perspectives, knowledge, and vision of a select group of institutional thought leaders and influencers to: (1) inform the “future vision" of South Central College, one which advances new and developing market needs; and, (2) conceptualize "best practices" for benchmarking South Central College’s efforts against that vision.
