The Foundations on the Faribault and North Mankato Campuses of SCC annually award over $300,000 dollars in scholarships! Funds for these scholarships are raised in a variety of ways including community-wide fund drives, faculty, staff, and alumni contributions, earnings on endowed funds, grants, and special fundraising events.
Foundation volunteers work hard each year to raise funds for these scholarships, and we have had overwhelming support from the businesses and individuals in Mankato, Faribault and the surrounding communities. Supporters of the Foundations want to help SCC students succeed at achieving their goals!

Variety of Criteria - It's Likely YOU qualify
There are many types of scholarships available, and you don’t have to be a straight-A student to qualify for an award. Depending on the award, criteria may include program area, work experience, academic achievement, community involvement, activities, financial need, etc. Awards range from $100 to full tuition, and all SCC students are eligible to apply!
Presidential Scholarships are a full-tuition scholarship available to high school seniors admitted as full-time SCC students for the Fall semester. To qualify for this award, students must possess a GPA of 3.75 or above and exhibit leadership skills and community involvement. This is just one example, and there are hundreds of other scholarships available based on many different criteria. Students who complete the scholarship application will be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible.
